Britain Releases UFO Files
Hillariously spooky fun on CNN today, as the British Ministry of Defence releases the first batch of their UFO files, covering the years 1981-87. According to UFO activist David Clark, who lobbied for the release of the files, there are “hundreds and hundreds” of UFO reports received by the Ministry every year, and while most of them can be explained, a few can’t (that’s why they’re UFOs).
The Ministry says the files show there is “no great alien cover-up,” and that they have “no interest” in determing whether or not aliens have visited Earth; the Ministry investigations seek to find out “whether its airspace has been violated.”
